If we are to grow professionally, then we must •be willing to learn and teach one another (Professional Development). •build a community by working closely and communicating often with one another (use each other to help problem solve). •understand that we are in limited control of our environment •share valuable information with each other (news, free workshops, demos, test dates). •establish or renew rapport with teachers. •research educational technology trends. Meeting Norms
If we are to have productive meetings, then we must •arrive on time and prepared. •remain positive about teachers, students and each other during meetings. •keep sidebar conversations to a minimum. •keep our discussions relative to the agenda. Additional items can be addressed at the end. •have at least two possible solutions to problems / concerns. •send in questions / concerns prior to our meeting. •all participate.

BNE - Promethean / SMART boards working, replaced bulbs in projectors,
BOE - Just joined First Lego League, started assigning netbooks to students, projectors are straight, labels on a/v controls,
ECC - more comfortable with Promethean. However, need more support.
JES - Learning paths through Acuity (for each student and class), rewards for completing Learning Paths.
LCE -
NHS - DeRance held PD on Dropbox and Google Docs, completed EOC on-line. clickers being used for finals in FACS.
NMS - Move Promethean boards, Hitachi board (pending)

Netbooks are difficult for Acuity or any type of online testing. Great for word processing and presentations. (COMMUNICATED)
MS Office concerns - District uses different version than what teachers have at home.
Supporting teachers on basic technology skills. Bringing back "Tech Tools" (NEED IDEAS TO BE SUBMITTED)
ITS being a part of the decision making process when utilizing technology. (ONGOING)
Allowing time to prepare for implementing technology (assessment, surveys, tutorials) (ONGOING)

LCE - To increase efficiency, Mr. Chilton and his team have offered to move all the Thin Clients to the correct classrooms. And then let the Tech Team set them up. (STATUS)
